In my last post I described my inability to get over 103 FSB at any multiplier setting on my Asus A7V and Abit KT7 boards. Has me absolutely fuming! Believe me cooling is not he issue! It's like the mobo or processor has me locked down or something. POS! Mobo and processor are both cool as ice and this thing still refuses even without many PCI cards. MAD! Ordering KT133 A and I hope that resolves the problem. What kind of luck are you guys having with these chipsets. 'Bout ready to shoot the thing with a shotgun and stomp that extra FSB out. LOL! Nah, need some comparisons though and what you've done if successful.

I could only get my A7V up to 107 stable regardless of the multiplier setting, now running Abit KT7A-R and things are much better now with a FSB of 145.

You think you got it bad...
(granted I got the FSB up to 112...highest it will go)
I can't unlock the multiplier...it's frozen in the BIOS at 7.5
so the 840 i got it at now...that's it...
Till new mobo or chip...
That's ok...none of my apps/games need 1.4GhZ like ya'll
I don't have have Adobe Photoshop 15 ^_^

Point being for my needs...840 is enough....for now BUT I SHALL RETURN!!

I've got two boards with the KT133 chipset, an FIC AZ11 and an ASUS A7V. Niether on of them will go above 107 FSB. I've just gotten an ASUS A7V133 (with the KT133A chipset), and am having much better results with the FSB, it will go over 133 no problem. I've settled in at 111 though, that's where I get the best benchmarks, 10*111.
Keep in mind that I'm only running a DURON 600 on this board. I'll probably try my 650 T-BIRD on it if I can get my wife off that one.
