what is the diffrence between the Dhrystone and whetstone benchmark in sandra? My 1700TbredB @ 2330 can blow away all of the other cpu in the database with the exeption of the 3.2P4 but in the case of the 2.8-3.0P4's it performes better in the dhrystone test but significantly lower in the whetstone.

Dhrystone measures integer and logic performace. Whetstone measures floating point performance. The P4 always appears noticeably slower than the Athlon in x87 FP, but somewhat faster than the Athlon when using SSE2 FP.
