The motherboard is just not getting past the 4 red light initialization stage on the light sequence... Which means that the motherboard doesn't like the chip or the chip is fryed.
I tryed it on another system (same type of board) with same result and tried the original board with a athlon 900 and that worked flawless...
So either the mobo doesn't like it or the chip is fryed or there is not enough power?
Ya can't even start the thing...
Help? or new 1.2athlon?
K7TPro2-a
300w power
matrix dual
1.2athlon
512 dimm

Hmm, I don't know the lights, but it doesn't look good if you ask me. Have you tried resetting your mobo? (pull jumper for 30secs, see your mobo manual). Added new hardware VERY lately? What have you done to it, tried extreme voltages or maybe even nothing? Big chance your chip is fried when resetting doesn't work and you haven done stange things besides trying to push your chip any further :(
just a suggestion check your psu what is it 300w if not it might be that you arnt supplying an enough wattage
i hace a 300w and my duron 700@910
my floppy light is constantly on partally but when i burn a cd the power light goes on and off i assume this is due to it only being 300w
so basicllly check the power supply is 300w+ and then check you mates and try it in somthink higher than a 300w
and other than that no idea if you dont understand what i say just ignore me lol
