i just build a system for my friend with:

antec amd3700slk case w/ 350w smartpower PSU
120mm stock exhaust fan
120mm YS tech intake fan
barton xp 2500+
volcano 11
512MB pc2700 w/ [cheap] copper spread
7200 rpm maxtor HD
radeon 9000 pro

i have the volcano 11 on temp sensing mode, so on idle it goes pretty high [39°C] but under load the temps are very close [42°C]

i wanted to know if these temp results are good/typical, b/c the comp will be going to a non-airconditioned environment come september.

If any one here knows about College Park, thats where its going...hot summers, no a/c.

i am bumping this to the top.

this computer is going to be moved to a non-a/c environment soon, and i am curious to know what temp changes i should expect, and if it will hinder stability.

the processor is not o/c'ed.

the computers new location will be in College Park, which is near D.C.

thx for the help.
