View Full Version : Gonna build my first AMD system.... Are all 1.2 or 1.33 T-birds AXIA and unlocked?
I am looking for a 266fsb T-bird and everyone has been telling me to get one with the AXIA code. Since I am gonna order the cpu online I just wanted to make sure that I get the right one.
Gonna use this T-bird with a KT7-R until the DDR boards mature.
Any suggestions are welcome!
i believe that all the 1.2 and 1.33 are unlocked my 1.2 was ;D

I believe that all 1.3/266 chips are AXIA....I'll know for sure on Tuesday when we get them in. :)

Hey QSW, I just got my 1.2 Axia on wednesday from www.econpc.com for $268 icludes s/h and 1 yr. warranty. Seems that is all they have are AXIA's.
Thought that might help.
Thanks for your replies :)
Kat : Are u using your Swiftech with the Delta fan? Is the noise bearable? I bought the same heatsink but the fan was out of stock. So far the Adda 50cfm fan is the most powerful 80mm fan that I can find.
Terry : Thanks for checking. Can I assume 1.33's be on sale at warpfactor-e on Tuesday ?
Da Whip : I can't find www.econpc.com, the closest to that is www.econopc.com. Is that where u bought ur 1.2?
