Radeon 9500np's with the L shaped memory are going back up in prices, most around 200 bucks now... However I found this deal:

Good reseller rating, and the appear to have the picture of the L shaped card. This product is on special order for $138, which means it will take a bit longer to get this card since its in a different warehouse, and stock is running low.


I bought it, if I get an I shaped one ill just send it back and eat the restock fee, figure I dont have anything to lose since the 9500np's are about 200 bucks now.

No they are not....

I just checked last night on newegg a Sapphire 9500np with L shaped is going for 140... I got mine for 170 in may...

155, i was wrong. The 9500 PROs are going for 205 right now...
Those cannot be soft modded and dont even have L shaped ram versions...

138 may be a good price, but for me after shipping its still 145 bucks which isnt that big of a deal...

Heh... as of right now, newegg's sapphire red 9500np's are set at 155, and they aren't even in stock anyways. That's kind of scary/disappointing, I was pondering buying one of the cards for the heck of it...

Haha yeah i was kinda worried about that not being in stock.

I'm pretty happy with the sapphire 9500np i bought from them though... OC's like mad and its still got room for improvement...

Shipping took like 2 days too and it was free :D

That same card at the same retailer was 139 2 days ago, then it went up to 149, and now 189. I have seen them go for around 200, I will try to find the link (didnt save it as this link I saved because I was going to buy this card, but was surprised at the price)

You can buy a freeking 9700 for just a little over 200 so if you buy a 9500 nonpro for 200 you are a smoking some bad stuff.

Sure you can, but just about until 3 days ago you could buy a 9500mp that could mod, and even if it didnt, it could be overclocked to outperform a 9600 pro (thats 9500np vs 9600pro, 9500 pro beats 9600 pro at stock) and all you paid was less than 150 bucks.
