xp . how to remove old lan driver

I installed a new mobo and repaired my OS but the old lan driver is still there and is causing a conflict. i did a search for it and looked in the drivers list, cant find it. ? where is it and how to delete?

If the driver is loading with a device, then go into device manager (win2k, but I'm sure XP has the same thing). Then goto the device, click on propeties, then driver details. It will show all files associated with the driver.

but i canot find the device either !

Well then... That is a problem. The driver should not even be loading. How do you know this driver is giving you problems.
