Router settings for two computers.

hey, i have a server running with a static ip and have all the necessary ports forwarded to it. the server works fine, people play on it and everything.. but how would i join it with my other computer? i try to join through my lan, but it doesnt work. i even have my other computer in the DMZ on my router. im thinking maybe because i have all the ports forwarding to my other computer i cant play counter-strike on this other computer anymore.. is that how it works? how would i get around that.

you should be able to access the server by its private LAN ip.

ya that's what i though too, but it doesnt work. tells me "server verification failed" and doesnt let me in
