i am new to overclocking and would like to know how far i can overclock my cpu. i have an athlon slot a 800mhz cpu and an abit ka7 mothboard using 256mb of pci 133 ram cas 2.have all ready upgraded the heat sink and have placed two fans on this.
all ready tryed increasing the fsb to 112 and get a cpu reading of 896mhz , have all so tryed increasing to 115 but get an error message at start up. is there anything else i can do to get a faster speed. any advice please

You could get a gold finger device. http://millisec.com should have them. You'll have to crack the case open though.

just up the voltage a few steps one step at a time untill it boots in to windows
check the cpu database to see what other people have done

dont think you need the gold finers thought

You will prob need the goldfinger device to unlock the multiplier as your mobo (chipset) is prob whats keeping you from raising the fsb any more.
