A have recently bought an unlocked duron 800mhz.
I really need to know the following things:
1. What FSB shoul I use(100/33,133/33 ect)
2. How much could I overclock it to(multiplier)?
3. my Geforce 2 mx is NOT stable when in x4 mode! any ideas why? and what I can do to solve this problem.
4. What temparatures CPU and case should I get

These are my machines spec so far:
Duron 800@? (with ThermoEngine V60-4210 Socket A /FC-PGA OCS-Ultra (Black)
Abit KT7A-RAID
Quantum AS 40gb HD
Geforce 2 mx (hercules) stable at 200/200(x2 AGP)
Soundblaster 1024
Globalwin 802 case with macron 300w PSU(with 2 Y-TECH 36CFM)
Pionner 16x DVD-ROM

Well, first off...I am having a brain fart I guess..I don't quite understand what the fsb 100/33 or 133/33 means.

I think if it were I, I would remove all cards except video (always when overclocking) maybe use a less expensive, but good video card if available, set core volts to standard to begin with. set bios to 100 mhz and multipliers to 8 X 100. In other words, get it running very stable at design frequencies, If this works good, reset bios to 133 mhz, and the multipliers to 6 X 133 and try that...should be 798 mhz. If this works good, no hangs or BSOD ect, go back into bios and reset multipliers to 6.5 X 133...should now be at 864 mhz. Check to see if the machine is still stable, ect. You get the picture...overclocking is an art...not to be rushed...a little at a time til you run into problems...then, you are either at you max...or maybe can find out what is preventing you from going up more...video, ram, HDDs and other things may be at fault...so, its important to do this in small steps...little by little. Also, just because you have a friend or have read where somebody is running an 800 at over a gig...does not mean your cpu will do it. All solid state stuff is unique...some will, others wont. You will have to increase core volts at some point...but for beginners, the best way is to increase fsb, then do the multipliers then core as needed...a little at a time. It takes hours to tweak one out to run at some overclocked frequency...as you get more experence...of course you can jump by a few steps here and there...but do so carefully.

How much you can overclock it to depends on your processor. I see where some of the guys can only get about 100-150 mhz...others get an 800 up to maybe 1.2 gig...that is rare tho...unless you happen to have one of the copper core cpu's. The old 600 mhz Durons seem to have been some of the very best as far as O/C'ng is concerned...I see some up to 1.2 gig...that is extreme for sure.

I don't have any answers for the Geforce 2 mx, just try running it at 2X til a answer comes along...could be drivers...directX..ect.

Case temps should be kept as close as possible to ambient room temps. CPU temps vary a lot, but from my point of view...50 degrees centigrade under max load is enough...and maybe 45 at idle. Some have much lower temps...but the aluminum core AMD processors run hot..and keeping the cpu temps down is sometimes diffucult. One of the best case mods that seemed to really help the cpu HSF cooler was a 120mm fan mounted in the side of the case, blowing directly on the HSF...this kept warmer case air from being used to cool the HS...
