I have seen that the new tbirds 1.3(200mhz) is on its way. but how can u use them when the kt7 only do 12.5 multipilere?

try to overclock the ram.

U just set the FSB speed a little higher, like this:

12.5x105= 1312.5MHz
or
12.5x110=1375MHz

Then it aint a 1.3 its like a 1.2 oc too 1.3 then how can amd call it an tbird 1.3ghz????? When u up the fsb u are really just oc an 1.2 then it becomes unstable

U are right there, but currently I think it's ur only option, because I don't think there is any boards that can use a higher multiplier, yet.
Have u ordered one of these?

Is the 12.5 multiplier a hardware limitation at the moment? If not we will prob see some updated bioses soon to support the new chips.

nah i havent ordered it. I just think it was strange that it didnt go higher than 12.5 when 1.3ghz is out. Also my friend got an kt7a and his didnt even goto more than 12.5 either.

I think it is the latest socket A CPU. U are probably right about the bios update.

I think the Iwill with the chipset KK266 can rech multipliers as high as 15

i think the iwills are still limited to 12.5 multiplier...they just allow for 133 fsb
