the first couple of motherboard pics are of tyan's dual socket a mobo, the thunder k7, which uses the amd 760mp chipset.

That first picture of the big round platter 'o cores sure is pretty. :) Heh, I am going to wait a little while, to see what those bridges actually turn out to be, and see what the O/C potential is...and then....welp....time to break out the Visa..... :)

The chipset looks like a K6 CPU! Why do you suppose the memory is slanted? That couldny help cooling. No way are you going to fit a heatsink on those.

it's important to remember that this motherboard is just a test board that amd has ( not made by anybody!)

the board is the tyan dual board. it's aimed at the server market, so it could be slanted like that because of low-profile casing space constraints.

thats not mosfets

thats a 2nd CPU

its a dual MOBO

thats the CPU heatsink =-)

hehehe, sharp, azz, sharp.

and notice the low-profile heatsink...? same reason as the slanted ram i should think.
