I went to log onto All seeing eye for some Bf1942 fun and this little popup for new games came up saying "Added Support for Multi-Theft Auto The new Gta:Vice city online mod, See www.multitheftauto.com for details" THIS IS COOL!~

I would be all excited if it wherent for the fact that my only online choice where I live is a 28.8 connection lol. I actually read about this mod being in the works in PCGamer mag. They where excited about it as well. If I remember right they played a beta version at the E3 convention.

i played it, its hecka lame. you gotta like connect, then disconect, the get in a car, then back out then find the other person, then blah blah blah. it was stupid. i think gta would be awsome with multy person support, but im just gonna wait for rockstar to put it in.

sorry, i didnt word that right,

just to connect, you have to jump in and out of your car. then do a bunch of other stupid crap. its just just start playing and your connected.
thats wut i meant. :)

All you do is start the client while connected to a server. Then start a new game in Vice city, and your connected. Its pretty simple.

Have you ever seen the Edit button?

oh, ok well it was a real pain to try and connect with the old gta online game. maybe the fixed it for vice city, i dunno.

I get an "Unhandled Exception" error when I try and play. I saw a reference to the error in the MTA FAQ but I didn't really get a solution from it. Guess I'll have to try a reinstall...


Edit: Got it working after reinstalling but it's a bit lame. Players are hella jumpy and it lags really badly. Plus no admins :( Back to BF42: DC I go...

Ive tried this over a lan and it works pretty good. No lag at all.
