View Full Version : Found an AXIA Source (with reasonable prices)
A few days ago, I sent emails to about a dozen or so vendows from Pricewatch.com who had the lowest prices on 1, 1.2 and 1.3 Tbirds. It simply asked if it would be too much trouble to check the code before buying from them. So far, one, said he couldn't and one said he would. Now this company was the brunt of an article by Ed lately so I'm a bit hesitant to tell anyone to jump right in.

He does sort them by code, and if it trips your trigger, by core color. The phone number he gave me was:
1-877-428-2266 to inquire or place an order. Good Luck.

I got a reply from Tom at Computer Craft. He checked his trays and all his 1Ghz 266FSB T-birds are AXIA prefix. Good price also

Cool - that's what I have been wondering - if they are 266, they cannot be older than 1 month or so, and that should mean AXIA, if the code interpretation with rising 2nd letters is correct
Yo
I got my Credit card out of my pocket, ready to order my 1G AXIA CPU from Computer Craft but their server was down. So instead, I check their rating at http://www.resellerratings.com/comview.cgi?ComputerCraft and It is awful. 45 reviews on them and most of them are awful. I am lucky and glad that I checked it out. The service is not that good, overcharged, bad RMA. The main thing is they don't care about customer. Their rating at http://www.resellerratings.com/comview.cgi?ComputerCraft is only 2.7. here is one typical review.... Watch out please. I am glad I did. On looking for my dream 1G AXIA... :-) :-) :-)

Computer Craft is nothing but a joke. Not only do they charge $25 to ship a stick of memory, but they can't figure out how to provide the tracking number. The customer service is awful, and when I did call I was on hold for at least 20 minutes while they "looked for my order;" without a 1-800 number, they could be more mindful of customer's phone bills. It was a complete waste of money and time to order from these incompetent people.
