I think it would be nice to have a dedicated thread to serve as reference for anyone looking for a specific stepping for the 2500+ and want to know if it appears in either OEM or Retail versions more.

Also, this could show on average what certain barton steppings are overclocking to.

So, post your current o/c, stepping information and if it was OEM or Retail! :)

2500+ Barton(green chip)
AXDA2500DKV4D
AQXEA0327UPAW
running at [email protected]
temps are 26c case and 30c cpu as I type
will pass all test except Prime95(F*$%#@G Hate prime95)
I ran a cpu burn in and test that gives a certificate after 6 hours and it passed it easy so I dont know what it is with prime95
stock heatsink and fan and even that crappy little thermal pad AMD gives you (didnt have any as3)
anyway Iam happy as hell about this chip and it would do more except that my MB wont go over 180FSB so its at 12.5x180 right now

Bose;-)

In the sig (retail). Running steady at 11 x 200, 1.75V. Gets unstable if I go over 200. Probably would be okay if I upped the current more but I get a little nervous going higher. Can go 11.5 x 200 with the vcore up to 1.8v.

in sig, OEM

runs @ 200 (11*200) at stock voltage
posts at 2500mhz, but waaaaaaaaay too hot

SLK800 arriving this week, hope to get it stable at around 2400mhz

upgraded? from 1800XP at 2200mhz JIUHB
the barton runs much hotter at lower vcore

Hey! Please respond to this, I am going to buy 2500+ barton AQXEA 0327VPMW / AXDA2500KV4D
, will this reach 2500 mhz? I will use asatek water cooling. Using Abit NF7 V2.0.
Memory OCZ PC3700EL 466 mhz CAS2 gold or preferably Corsair PC3500 cas2 434 mhz.

that looks like a good chip/stepping.. but 2500 is a hard to do even with tbreds =d even with a good stepping you gotta be lucky to hit 2.5 ;d but i wouldnt rule it out.. go for it and see hwo far it will go ;x

first
stepping AQXDA, 0319, "Y", 2777mhz 1.95v 100% STABLE OEM
brown

second
stepping AQXEA, 0324, "Y", 2700mhz 1.9v 100% STABLE OEM
GREEN

water+tec cooled for first
vapo cooled for second...

AQXDA 0313MPMW 209x12 (2508MHz) @1.825V OEM
AQXEA 0323UPAW 209x11.5 (2403MHz) @1.80V RETAIL

Both water cooled

I bought the Retail version from Newegg. It's an week 23 AQXEA, and even at 2V using high-end water cooling, it will not do 2300MHz. I need 1.85V just to remain stable at 2200M

Sounds like you got a lemon

My Retail week 23 AQXEA also came from newegg. It was doing 2300 MHz at 1.70V on the first day of use.
