Hmm, does this indicate that nobody has tried a 1.33?

Well I got a 1333/266 AXIA and am sorta disapointed. It seems to run ok at 9.5 x 156=1482mhz.

The disapointment is that my 1.2/200 runs at 9 x 155=1395mhz.

The good part is I was able to return my 225.00 1.2 for a 240.00 1.3 so, 15.00 for the added speed is ok but I was hoping for something over 1500mhz.

Btw the 1.2 @ 1395 runs temp at 43c and the 1.33 @ 1482 is running hotter at 54c same swistech fan on both CPU's. Also running Win2k only here.

Maybe you guys can suggests a "great off the shelf peltier" I can buy for this CPU.
TIA

unless you have one big ass water cooling system and a 175 watt peltier then dont put a peltier on a AMD chip

they cant take the heat off fast enough

i been thinking of building a big water cooling system and useing 2 175 watt peltiers on mine but peltiers scare me !!!!!!

yea. i got one.... using a Iwill KK266-R god i love this mobo.... never had a more stable and working freindly board that can overclock..... on a scale of 1to 12.... this thing gets a 15... one extra for stability ,, one extra for overclocking above and beyond the need... and one extra for the no BS raid that works like a charm when configured right...

oh back to the subject ..LOL...... 1.333 266 C series chip.... Axia purple core from ??? (not telling anymore..) got it up to 1.53 stable with just aircooling... i keep it at 1.46 for cooling.. i dont like hot chips... LOL and i push it for my needs(extensive graphics and cad and benchies of course!) like i said i would get the Iwill to be its tag team buddy... i love this rig right now.... Phil

I am running a AXIA unlocked 1.33 at 1550 right now. Haven't tried any higher, bascially no need to. Anyway, the chip is running stable and fairly cool with the help of NUMEROUS case fans and a FOP38.

My idle temps are between 32-35 and after HEAVY gaming my temps average 40-45. I am running it at 1.80v just to be safe, I guess I should have at least tried it at default voltage, but I figured I'd omit one possible problem

Well I know have my 1.3 running at 1492mhz 9.5 @ 157. With swiftech370 cooling, 50c under major load. Got my killer Swiftech MC462 with Delta fan today. Can't wait to see the temp lower and possibly hit 1530+ mhz.

ALL THIS WITH WIN2K!!!!!!!

I'll let you know tonight

I got it up and going with new heat sink and fan.

Better than expected. 10.5 x 153 1607mhz.

Arctic Silver and Swiftech MC462 and Delta 80 x 38 60cfm fan. Motherboard running at 23c and the CPU under load 34c.

THIS THING IS KILLER and only run Win2k so I dont now how high it will go in Win9x(it).

BTW, listed 3dmark2001 score is labeled "#1 mark in Win2k"

I don't think there is anywhere that you can buy one at a good price. 79.95 seems to be the standard so I figured i would pay it just for the quality; from what I've read so far, the majority of people who buy one say that it is worth it.
