just thought about it and wondered if its standard to recieve 2 serial to ide converters and power cables? because i did with my nf7 s 2.0? was i just lucky or is this standard?

Think you might of lucked out...

- On board Serial ATA PCI Controller
- Supports SATA data transfer rates 150MB/s (1.5G bps)
- (package contains only x1 Serillel Kit)

I got my ONE standard issue SATA "Seriell" converter with my NF7-S 2.0. So yes, you got lucky....

I'm not even considering getting a 2nd one until I know beyond a shadow of a doubt they've completely and fully squared away each and every issue with the onboard RAID corruption I've read so much about.

well i think it goes, if your gonna go raid, actually buy sata hard drives, becuase having the convertors does not help issues

ive only got the one at the moment, and im pretty pleased with the performance increase, only an extra 7mb/s but hey,
