Well I bought a Golbal win Fan the 1 thats $26 its a Fop-38 But the newer 1 with a better heatsink from millisec's website and i tried it my temps are in bios ALOT lower in my bios then in my ASUS Probe. My ASUS A7V-133 W/Raid, my bios reads 42c 103f and my asus probe reads 56c 132f I duno which temp to go with cause i dont wana OC if its to hot and when i start up my comp it wont go on most of the time it just hangs i gota keep pressing reset then it goes back to default of 9.0x times 100 this is a 1.2Ghz 266fsb TB AXIA chip I tried doing the pencil trick on the L1 and L7 Bridges that did do nuttin i did it with 0.5mm mechanical pencil does any 1 know what my prob might be? When i 1st installed my mother board i had 2 coper screws touching the mother board while it was on maybe I damaged it and have to bring back my motherboard as that might of done damage i took out the screws my MB was resting on..HELP !!! .....ReTiCuLe

The reading from within BIOS is always more accurate than that of AsusProbe. If my memory serves me correctly, I remember someone stated in a reply that the latest version of AsusProbe actually gives out a +10 degrees reading than it actually is. Which means, if it gives a reading of 56c, it actually is 46c.

hey .. i have a 1.33 tbird (266fsb)

use motherboard monitor for your temp readings ..
im overclocked 1.33 @ 1501 defualt voltage and my idle temp is 41c and im running an alpha pep66 w/delta and some artic silver 2
