Albatron KX400+ Pro Mobo issues/

I got this mobo and it reads my Athlon XP 2600+ Thoroughbred as an unknown processor 1666mhz.

what should i do?

What exactly is the computer doing? Does it boot up, load windows crash, need a little more info please.

everything is fine but it cant read the processor and it says its 1666mhz instead of 2.08ghz

try manually setting the cpu speed(fsb) in bios a lot of boards dont detect the cpu correctly and thats all it takes in most cases.set the fsb at 166 and the multiplier at 12 or 12.5 and see what happens that should get close. you may also have to raise your voltage a little bit also but not much try one or two steps above its current setting.
