I'll be damned, but I just can't seem to do it. My chip barely scratches when I do it. Took out a couple of pins, though.

The 22 will work but in order to keep from destroying the chip you will have to back it up with some 3/4 inch plywood. The key here is high velocity my 22-250 @ 4000 feet/sec will go through 1/2 inch plate steel at 150 yards making a very clean hole! Bring that chip on :)

PS If you can't handle this I guess you could try a carbide tip drill bit but that wouldn't be as much fun.

try a dremel with the carbide grinding/cutting tip-gonna make a keychain?

what is the point in putting a hole in th chip and were do you do it ?

Put some super glue on those pins to keep them from bending. That way it still looks good even after it is on your keychain.
