View Full Version : Ok so who has a 8KTA3?
Hey everyone, I love this board to death but it has one draw back I see. The temp sensor is on the MB instead of touching the cpu. What kind of temps are you guys running? I'm at about 30 C which is a way low reading to be real and instead reflects the board temp. I have a Tbird 750 and it will run great at 7.5x133 until I run Quake 3 (with 10 bots) for about 20minutes then it will reset to bios and start over. What would cause this? I can't tell if its heat or the 250w psu (antec). I have a volcano II and while it does not feel very hot I can't be sure of exactly how hot the core is.
Thanks
I run at 38 - 42C. My temps better be accurate because I gague a lot on them! I would replace that power supply. I know people with basic setups that have problems with 250 watters. They switched to 300 and their problems were solved.

I run about 39 max and 33 idle. I have a FOP32 with a 36cfm 80mm fan on top.
