Ok, 1.33Ghz Tbird on the way (want to hit 1.5GHz, with FOP38 ), along with an Asus A7M266 mobo. According to Asus the next bios should include multiplier ajustment (big gamble on my part I know but oh well), anyway my question is when I get it I want to connect the bridges and install the CPU only once. But what multiplier will it default to with all the L1's connected and no current support for multiplier adjustment? Will I get stuck at the lowest supported x5 (666Mhz) or will it default to the chips rated setting? L3's are the actually multiplier setting no? So should get default right?

Confused, need help, big thanks.

Right. But with the 1.33 tbird it might already be unlocked.

It ought to post at the default multiplier once the L1 bridges are connected - ie 10x for a 1333 chip (10x133). Hope Asus come up with the multiplier adjustments for ya :)

Yeah, the 1.33 should default the multiplier to 10x instead of 5x. I would be led to believe that your chip will come L1 unlocked as well.

On a side note, Cork!! You've been absent quite a while. Good to see ya back!
