Ok, when I go and workout, I wake up th enext morning with sore muscles. As far as abs go, only upper. I am looking for some good ways to get a good workout on my lower abs. Anyone have any?
Thanks.
Roman chair situps and leg lifts.

It's all about the balance. You go through work and walk around the house and pretty much only the upper abs are doing the work. That's why it's so hard to build good lower abs.
Hell, I dunno I've had the same routine just bigger reps:
30 crunches
30 side crunches - left
30 side crunches - right
40 pikes - (or v-sits) --> If you can do them, they are really good for the lower abs
That's one set, I do 3-4

Full sit-ups (full range of motion) on an inverted incline (feet higher than head, like an incline bench with the padded bar you hook your feet under) work really well too. If you do a bunch of those (bunch defined as "OMG NO MORE") you will REALLY feel it the next 2 days. ("OMG DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH AGAIN.")
Also, if you're REALLY cut with low body fat percentage and you're trying to seriously augment your six pack, instead of crossing your arms while doing the sit ups, hold some hex heads (you decide what weight) at shoulder level, on either side of your head.
Ouch.
Your abs aren't used very much after a 30° bend in a conventional situp.

Hmm.....the problem is that alot of times, if you go too far in the range of motion, you won't be working your abs, but rather your back
It's a reason it's called a crunch

i sit on a bench, prop my feet under something, and then do sit-ups, except i make my head go all the way back and touch the ground. 3 sets of 50 are good.

well if you're in a gym most places have one of those little pull down bars but they're on a pulley on the ground. i used to lay on my back and do leg lifts holding about 40lbs with that in my thighs. that's also good for those muscles in your upper upper upper thighs close to your hip bones.
