is "60 C - 65 C" a normal temp for my 1GHz Athlon Tbird ?

That's way too hot - my tbird crashes when it reaches 59C. Many people initially run somewhere in the 50's before they improve their cooling from stock, and while I have heard of one or two running above 60, it is dangerously hot. It might not fry your chip, but it will reduce its lifespan and maybe make it unstable. You should be able to get down to the mid 40's without too much trouble - what hsf combo are you using, and how good is your case cooling?

as Rob said it is extremely hot if you're doing any overclocking...way to hot to be stable.....
but IMHO if you are not going to oc then that probably wont hurt it...AMD rates their 1Gig+ chips to 95c (thats obviously not good and no chip should ever run that high!!)
and i would say that you're right at the edge so dont let it get any hotter than that...if it does or if you are going to oc and dont want to spend a lot of money on cooling, i suggest the alpha pep66 with a Delta 38 cfm fan...the fan is loud but you cant get better air cooling than that combo....you can get it at description (http://www.2cooltek.com ) for i think $32
What kind of cooling are you using??? I would suggest a PAL 6035 Delta with Arctic Silver II.
