View Full Version : AMD 800
Ok I have a T-Bird 800 overclocked at 1001 (7x143) but when I set it to 1000 (7.5 X 133) I get memory errors, bith with win 98 and win 2000, It runs at the same temps 50C underload. I know it's a little high but it is rock steady at 7X143 any ideas why it is unstable at the higher multiplyer?
same to me; my 650 duron runs well at 145x6=870mhz, without a glitch, but could not run at all with higher multiplier like 7x100, 8x100 or 8,5x100 on the k7a abit mobo. why? i don't know??? help please. thanks.

How did you unlock the bridges? I used a number 2 pencil and my 7.5 multiplier shows up as 7. Neither are stable.. I was completely stable at 6.5X140 ( 910) Now I'm runnning my 800 T-BIRD at 125X8 just so I can have the magical 1 gig ":):) From what I'm reading using regular pencils aren;t the good. :)

My TBird 800 [y2000week41] runs great at a gig w/ 10x100. I've tried many, many combinations though and it will NOT go over a gig stable. Haven't messed w/ FSB though. Too risky for my tastes. At first I had used a mechanical pencil, switched it to conductive pen, $12 at Fry's.
