Well folks, I finally got off my butt and spent some real dough on a good proc. I just got the 1333MHz T-Bird for 320, that's a little less than AMD had posted. I'll be hooking it uip to the KT7A-Raid w/256M Crucial PC133 cas2 ram. unfortunately, I won't be able to do that for a couple days, not at home, on spring break.
codes are as follows:
A1333AMS3c
AXIA0105DPAW
Y600111620064
Anyone have an idea what all this means, I know what the 1333 means, as for the rest, not I. Thanks for any responses, and as soon as I get this mother of all systems up, I'll post again.

You got a pretty good chip. AMS3 is for info regarding cache size, maximum operating temperature, and so on. The letter "C" in the first line means your chip is "C" type (running at 266 bus speed). The version "AXIA" is very good for overclocking and running very well. "0105" means the chip is made on week 5 of the year 2001.

You should have search for 1Ghz (B version) with code the same code "AXIA". I got the 1Ghz "AXIA" (week 10 of 2001) into my machine last night. At default voltage, I go all the way from 1 Ghz - 1,1Ghz - 1.18 Ghz - 1.23 Ghz. The temperature is a cool 27C at idle. Tonight, I will bring it pass 1.3 Ghz. This web site has indicated that these "AXIA" 1Ghz CPU can run at 1.4 Ghz using default voltage. My CPU comes with multiplier locked and I unlocked it with defogger kit. Your CPU is certainly come unlocked. But why pay double the money to get the same performance?
