I have a GA-7vrxp rev1.1 mobo with an XP 2400+ 266fsb.The mobo is giving it 1.7 volts instead of the normal 1.65.Bios is F12
Is there any program to change the vcore to 1.65?I cannot decrease the vcore through bios, and the cpu is heating up too much.

Try OCing your CPU by a few MHz, that was what you had to do on earlier BIOS revisions when you had a T/Bred. Later revisions should have cleared this up but possibly old settings could have remained if you didnt clear the CMOS before and after the update. Another thing to check is that if you used Arctic Silver that you havent got some on the L11 bridges as these are the bridges that control the CPU voltage.
