Ok I got a new mobo and tbird, I am trying to oclock it and it just ain't happening, I connected the L1 bridges with rear defroster epoxy and the L7 the cpu is rated for 1.1gig I can't get it above 1.150gig I tried 10.5x110,10x120,12x100, nothing will work I used a magnifying glass to confirm the bridges are closed and they are I even opened the one L7 that I closed. please help any info would be greatly appreciated.

what sort of voltage are you putting through the processor? and how are you cooling it? it's pretty vital that you get these two right for a good overclock. also, perhaps the AJEAs just aren't overclockers... how old is the proc?

the voltage is 2.85 and the cooling is done by a fop38

first off what are your temps

second what thermal past u useing between the heatsink and CPU?

third what bios you running on that board?

fourth what is your I/O voltage at??

Did you try 11x110? What are your temps? I would suggest tring to oc with FSB first if that works then you must not have connected the L1's.

first my temps are about102-102f,im useing artic silver II, the bios date is 12/15/2000 the code? is8363-686b-6a61ma19c-ww, my I/O voltage is 3.40v

I tried to reapply the defrost paint then cleaned the bridges good and tried a pencil i cant think of any thing ells to do. do the l7 bridges make a difference

sometimes it will post if i overclock the fsb but if I put the mutiplier above 12x it wont post, and i have been very carefull just to connect each bridge without crossing over to the next.

try the WZ FInal Bios and see if it helps

I just downloaded it. I have never flashed a bios before, any tips or suggestions on how to do that?
