Will my new ram lag my system in game

I am building a:

GIGABYTE GA-8IK110 (875P shipset)
2.6C 800MHz TH P4
2X256 sticks of Corsair XMS 3200 ram
FX 5200 ultra

will it lag ingame (PlanetSide) like the system in my sig does

and will the memory cause it because i simply did not buy enough
there for its going to lag just like my old system or will the bandwidth make up for it

512MB of Corsair XMS 3200 shouldn't lag. Planet-Side should run fine with 512MB of DDR. Your processor and overclocked video card should do the rest to make your game run fine in Planet-Side.

How much are you spending for your 512MB of Corsair XMS 3200 though?

If you want to get more memory, there's a good deal for KingMax TinyBGA DDR400 at NewEgg for $90 (inc. shipping). That's about $180 for 1024MB (2x512MB), or about $50 more then 512MB XMS 3200. KingMax TinyBGA memory runs just as well, if not better, then Corsair XMS C2 and even LL.

Man I hope so i am going to kick myelf in the butt if it does lag
