i was able to get my 800 tbird to 1000, but i want to get 8 x 133, my temps are at 43 full load so i don't think its a temp problem, my computer stops right when it starts to load windows, but i can get into the bios, have i just reached the limits of my chip?

At what core and i/o voltage? Upping them allows you to go faster, but puts a greater strain on your cooling solution.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is "it". I'm using an Abit KT7A. Both the KT7 and KT7A can have a simple set of mods put in to allow you to increase your core voltage up as high as 2.5V. I believe that there is one for the Asus also. Not sure about other boards. Gotta hit the sack now. I'll check back tomorrow morning.

i have a gigabyte ga 7dx its been a pain for ocing so far, i don't have any jumpers to change to voltage, i can only change it by cutting and filling in bridges,
