I purchased a Permatex Rear Window Defogger Repair Kit.. It came with a packet of adhesive (the brown stuff) and a vial of Activator (To activate the sticky-ness). What do I do with it? I tried putting the adhesive on the L1 bridges.. Nothing happened.. I am redoing a previous pencil job.. Do I use the activatior? I need step by step instructions.. Please. Thanks!!

What do the instructions say? Probably suppossed to mix them together, (guessing). I would use a needle to apply them to the bridges.

Ok, I got it to post once at 1 gig. But the multipliers werent right. So I took it back out and tweaked with it some more. It got worse.. Now its locked back on the 900mhz... The bridges are covered with a TON of the paint and still no luck. there is more then enough space between the bridges as well.. Does this stuff need to dry? I read several posts that it works fine right after you put it on the Processer.. Any ideas?

I have used a Loctite rear window repair kit to unlock many cpu's and never had a prob with it. There is just 1 bottle of brown conductive paint, just apply it no components to mix together or anything. As for drying time I wait about 30 min before powering up a system after the application.
You sure you didn't buy the rear view mirror glue!!!
They are side by side at the auto parts store!!
There are two products for repairing rear window defoggers. The one that you need is the one for repairing the traces on the glass. The other product that they sell is for restoring the connection of the power leads to the glass, not what you need.
