water cooled 28 degrees why wont it go faster???????????
2.friggen 6 volts??? I am surprised that it even runs at all! 1.2 ghz is an excellent overclock with a duron. I would lower that voltage before your decides that it won't do 1 mhz.

You definitely seem to be playing with fire if you're pumping 2.6 volts through your processor's core.... I would lower the voltage as far as you can and still get between 1100-1200 MHz stably. Even if your chip is cooled adequately (28 C IS adequate) you're gonna be dealing with accelerated electromigration and I assume you wanna keep your chip more than just a couple of months. It's quite possible that you have a chip that just wont do more than 1200 no matter how much juice you put through it. Unfortunately it's just something you're gonna have to live with. You're not gonna get 1500 MHz out of a Spitfire stepping Duron. Be happy with what ya got, I squeezed 950 out of my D700 setup and though I would like a gig I also want this stuff to last.

it's probable that you won't get more out of that core, no matter what you do! my duron 600 core is maxed out at about 1125, and will go no higher regardless of what vcore or cooling i use. you've got a kickass overclock... now lower that vcore before your proc kicks the bucket!
