thats a nice looking case. And i love the handles. Computer cases need handles! Anyways good job. And that sucker must be LOUD!

actually it's not that loud, my switch is louder.
not as loud as it used to be definitely
but yeah there is some noise, mostly rushing air noise, no whining.

well, I don't have any 40 mm wire grills though I'd love to put some on.
in the meantime, I just have to stay awake because if I'm not paying attention when I go to open a cd rom or something I get buzzed
anyone willing to help a guy in toronto gt his hands on 6 40mm wire grills

take the plates for the drive bays drill a load of holes in a nice pattern or use a dremel and cut a nice pattern and stick that on the front. Itll look alot better than grills

instead of grills use sheet medal or some thin metal and cut out some flame designs and out that over your fans it will go wuth you flame side

Why not get a few 80mm grills and use them instead

that will drastically reduce my airflows, and desides, I do like the look of wire grills. and it'll keep the them going.
as for using 80mm fan grills, won't work so great, sure in theory one would cover 4 of them, that leaves 2 and not to forget that there are spaces between them so one 80 wouldn't even fit on 4.
oh well, I don't mind

When I had fans in the front of my case, I found a little 'cage' thing in my brother's room. It was off of some toy or something, but it was basically wire (like a coat hanger) weaved together. It looked something like this...

And so on....it was already painted black, so it went well with my case, and it didn't look all that bad. The best part was, it fit perfectly, it was exactly 80mm tall, and exactly the width of my case.
