How might I go about reading the chips on my sticks of RAM? I am trying to read Corsair, Kingston, and Geil to determine which two are the fastest of the three sticks.

I Googled a lil bit and didn't have much luck.

Thanks to those who try to help out.

If you mean to test their practical speed, use Sysift Sandra Pro Max3.

If you mean to check their default timings, use cpu-z,or pc wizard,or cpu cool (Sandra also gives some info).

I have no motherboard that I can currently put the sticks in. And yeah, I'm asking for timings and latency.

I would check the respective manufacturer sites for specifications on the particular model numbers on each module. If that doesn't give enough info, pull the make and model off the actual chips, and check the manufacturer sites for white papers describing the chip latencies.

Took a couple of phone calls, but I found out. Thank ya.
