A7V600 raid

will the A7V600 run ide raid? The reviews i've read say it has SATA & PATA raid

does this mean its useless for using the integrated raid on ide drives??
 
I haven't done any reserach on that board, I would asume that PATA raid would stand for Parallel ATA raid, which is the standard IDE raid. Just my guess with out doing any research.
