Hey guys,

I'm off to to take the test today.
It's a 130km drive to Montpellier, the nearest testcenter.
Wish me luck!!! :D
It's an so called ''orange day'', ie lots of traffic jams.... All the traffic to Spain takes the same highway....

lol i guess nobody cares.
Anyway i passed the test. It was harder than i thought it would be though.
There was this drawing of a mobo and i had to find the floppy connector, the easiest thing.......but i couldn't find it......the drawing was REALLY weird.
I got 832.

Awesome job man! That test can be a pain in the butt. All the studying in the world and then at test time they pop up some wierd junk that you'll never use. Crazyness

The A+ hardware is about a million times easier than the stupid OS part. I mean who really needs to know the DOS command to change the clock in windows 2000?

BTW I became A+ certified a few weeks ago, nice padding on a resume but not really much of a useful cert. MCSE/MCSA, Cisco, etc. hold more weight but as always you want experience to boot.

AC how much did you get on the OS exam?

How much does it cost to get A+ certified (in Ontario)?

I just went to CompUSA yesterday to get the Exam Cram book for A+. Turns out they didn't have it but they did have the Networking Escentials (sp?) book for $5 on sale!!! :)

Pro'lly around $200 CAD. I have a friend going for it, and I have another friend who's already got it (plus a few more).

I'll get around to it eventually :). It's one of the few certs that doesn't run out, ever.

Haha.... AC Slater... I'm sorry if you're being serious, however I must point out how cheezy that is!

So is "My Stapler..." *sigh*

Always check the library first! I found arguably the best A+ study book at my local Library. It was great! :D
