I got a 600 slot athlon, and i just removed it yesterday to use some better thermal grease-IT HAD A FREAKIN adhesive pad. O well i got it off and applied the thermal grease. Think it runs cooler? Anyway, i got the code off it=K7650CURAFC-90867230527-9948EPDW, well this is a 600 posting chip so why the 650 in the code, an i missing something? What can i OC this to with a GFD? How can i up the voltage-i got a AMD (kadoka) gateway mobo. And last of all can i up the FSB with some soft of application? to get it to the 650 like the core says?? Thanks alot guys
The 650 means that you have a 650 core, and should be able to do 650 easily, and probably higher. To do anything with it , though, you'll need a GFD. Most of the Gateway boards I've seen won't let you do **** as far as overclocking adjustments, either by jumper or in BIOS.

ok so basically i have a 650 instead of a 600 i just need to release the xtra mhz-so if i want to hit 800 with my 600 i should be able to get 850 since its a 650 , also i have good cooling by way of 4 fans 1-120, 1-90, 2-80 and thermal grease-my CPU/GPU never get that hot at all. Thanks for the info guys-please give some more feedback as to what kind of GFD to get a Fressspeed ninja or a northwind?-what could i get to is 850 too high of an expaectation????????????
