if you guys were buying an amd chip today, what would you look for? which one would you buy? seems the 1.2 is quite popular.

I would go after a 1.33 266FSB chip with the code AXIA on it. That seems to be the best one out there right now for overclocking.

Look for AXIA coded 1.x/266 chips. They seem to have the best overclocking potential.

I'd recommend you get an OEM chip.

OEM would be cheaper but Retail will have a better warranty.
