take off the front plastic thing, the round thing, and you'll see an inlet tube there. i forget how to take the front thing off, but it should come off with a little pulling ;-)

yeah pull the blue part off. dont worry it shouldnt break anything but you will feel like your about to break it. then there should be a threaded area that your connector barb attaches to

:-| not to help ful :P .. ive got a seltz WHAT BLUE THING!?!? the bit holding clamping the impeller in?.. don't pull that off! noo!..

ok..

simply. press up on the front of the pumps underside near the the main part of the pump but on the clip-off waterfilter (the bit with the twisty knob)

once thats off. stash the water filter some where safely incase you wanna use it again., take the two barbs (black plastic barbs with blue clamp down rings) unless your using really thing tubing remove the clap down rings. screw the barbs into the threaded holes on the top and front of the pump (leave the blue plastic on the front but remove the knob part of it, to screw the front barb (inlet) temporarly remove the second blue plastic screwed on to the main pumps body.

then just stuff your turbing over there and zip tie or jubilee clip the pipes to the barbs and silcon seal all joints (just to be safe.. not really necsisary)

and rember to either mount the pump on the suction cups or buy foam / rubber things to mount it to your case on or you get one heck of a noisy pump

all done!

[edit] if none of that makes sence youve probably not got the seltz mk2 modle.

anyway i had the same problem as you and i just fiddled till i found where to press.

that would have done the same thing as those two posts by me would have done.. oops.. lol

[quote] thats the same part i was talking about. you mean the rounded front part on yours isnt blue?
mine has 3 blue parts

the whole outer case front peice . the dial thing for flow control when submersed and a locking part that is how you pull out the impellor. oh and a 4th if you count the semi sponglelike filter

what color is your front part if it isnt blue?

its black.. youve got a seltz mark 1.

ours just has a blue knob with a black casing and blue spongey filter then the bit that holds the impeller shaft in.
