i'm happy with palomino 1800+ for now,
but i need some upgrade ideas for my kt3 ultra 2... (via kt333)

i wanna go with good/old athlon32 cpus,
last bios update says barton 3000+ support added...
so, what's the limit of kt3 ultra 2 with lastest bios???

can i install "barton 3200+ (400mhz) with ddr400" to my kt3?

I've heard of very few kt333 boards hitting 200mhz fsb. Most of them run out of steam at 185-187mhz fsb.

very, very unlikely id say.

IMO, you should save the money for that xp3200 barton and get a new mobo+cpu instead. Abit nf7-s v2 and an xp1700+ is the ideal partnership these days, and both together would cost less than an xp3200+

Infact, you could get the cpu, motherboard AND ram for less than the price of an xp3200+ lol

yep...
"get 1700+ Tbred and collect some coins..."

i hope Athlon64'll be better, than the first impression... :eh?:

so do i. As for what you could expect from a 1700+ tbred dlt3c, check my sig. 227mhz fsb and 2.4ghz - thats way past what a barton 3200's runs at stock (2.2ghz, 200mhz)
