View Full Version : help a poor oc/er, duron 800 not getting past 950?
me got a7v133, me do 146 fsb(max)
my cpu wont go higher then 950 even on 1.85,
my temps are around 54, please what can i do?
i have stock heatsink with case fan, and dont ahve money to spend for hsf!
please any tips would be great
The only thing I can think of is to lap the heatsink and if you can, get some decent thermal paste. I think the temps are whats stopping ya. Lapping can drop teh temps by a few degrees, it may give you the couple of degrees you need to be stable.

Temps and such would help here....
It appears that you're just doing a FSB oc here. If that's the case, it's probably your memory or something else in your computer holding you back...you could try raising the vio to 3.5 or so. You could also unlock that puppy and go for a multiplier oc.

Mmmmmmmm, about to do the same little number myself in a week, would think it is heat try also leaving case cover off, the other thought is maybe your L1 bridges are a bit dicy! unless you were lucky enough to get one with factory bridging. You don't mention if the system is stable at this heat and speed. will be watching for some results.
