Hey, I am very confused, and I don't know much about networking so that doesn't help... But since I've got my new Epox 8RDA+ my network transfer speeds are very slow. as in 40KB/s slow. Yet i can still get 500+Kb/s downloading off the internet.
I am very confused. The 3 computers in our house are connected with a 100mbps hub. Now, i've tested with the other two computers and they transfer at the usually ~7MB/sec speeds that I always used to get. But With my Epox, Im only getting 40Kb/sec.... It can't be the line or the hub imo since I still get normal speeds on the internet. It must be some setting somewhere on this computer. Has anyone else had strange problems with the nforce network adapter?
My hub's full duplex lights are orange not green, i can't remember if they used ot be green.. and i can't find the manual.. but i don't know what would change it.
Oh yeah, I just updated my nForce drivers to the 2.45, but that didn't help.
Do I need to do anything in the BIOS with my MAC adress? I had it disabled, but i can input a 6 digit number..
win XP SP1
Epox 8RDA+ board
linksys 10/100 hub
Thanks!
