I have a 400 watt Powmax that works fine. Just wondered if I had enough power.

You can usually get by with a good 300 Watt PSU for the 9500 I have the 9700 and am using a 380 Watt True power and I'm running fine. Your PSU will be more then enough.

You need a quality power supply. I'm not too impressed with those powmax ones. They remind me of the Codegen power supplies. The generic Codegen 350 can't handle my GF's Radeon 9500 np I bought her.

Others in this thread have pointed out that you need "good" or "quality" power supplies. This is VERY true. The 330 you propose to get may work well or may be garbage. Before you buy, read the lead post in this sticky thread by Larva: http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=150384

Power supplies... quality over quanity any day of the week. A quality 350W will beat a quality 450W anyday. I personally like Antecs.

A 400W Powmax should do you just fine depending on the rest of your system. Imho if all your voltages are fine right now then you should be fine with the 9500np.

so far so good. even with my 5 Deltas.

really want the new Antec case with the 120mm in/0ut fans. more air and quieter.

"A quality 350W will beat a quality 450W anyday." That is pretty funny.

Anyways, I had a 350W Enermax that I used with a 9500np. I found it to be inadequate for my system. I have lots of fans and drives though. I replaced it with a 480W Truepower and now I have much better system stability. I say just spend the $70 and get a nice Antec or Fortron which will last you for a while.
