Well, how do you define "good"?
They were ok for their time, but were always behind the best that Intel had to offer.
These days they are hopelessly obsolete. But as basic email, web surfing boxes, they perform well enough. For many users, my mother for instance, a 500 MHz K6-2+ is all she needs. With sufficient memory, they can run Windows XP quite well.
