getting a 1.33 athlon soon and i wana kill my duron 700 :) . although everything i throw at this sucker just it keeps on digesting it! here is it's current sentance:
2.50 vcore
golden orb(the kind that crushes cpu's)
duron 700 @ 1200
DIE DAMN YOU!! DIE!!
any guses on how long it will last? it's been runing 3dmark2000 for 3 hours now!!
Instead of killing it, why don't you mail it to me instead? ^_^ Who knows, it might get crushed in the mail. ^_^

Gee....sell the thing. Advertise it as the Unstoppable Duron :)
That Duron belongs in a Museum :)

This doesn't make any sense, why not sell it? Geez, I've killed enough Durons by accident, why would anyone want to do this on purpose. Anyway, if you really want to kill it just grab your standard hammer and give it a nice whack right on the core. But if you come to your senses, go to Ebay and resell it or just give it to someone in need.

Awww.... poor duron - lol
How'd you get the vcore so high? Lower value resistor in a volt mod? I'm hoping mine will last long enough @2.27V for me to get enough money to buy a gig+ tbird as a replacement :-D
Take the heatsink off, it will take a couple of seconds to kill. However, don't you think you should keep it as a spare? Never know. :)

i feel sorry for that duron...*sniff*

I used a 27Kohms resistor instead of a 24Kohms

just as an experiment i tryed water cooling it again at the same voltage and i managed to get 1350. COOL!! think i might creat a new system with this sucker! serial link my comps and play nfs5 :)

It sounds like you have a really good chip. I think you should use it to its full potential instead of trying to destroy it.

Man my Duron 600 is running stable at 1050 I say when you get your athlon you should frame the Duron thats what i did

I concur.
If nothing else, keep the chip to help you trouble shoot when something goes wrong. I paid $40 for a 700 Duron yesterday for this purpose. The thing amazes me. I booted it for the first time at a gig on the bench without even changing the voltage.

I really think u should keep this one, I mean how many has a Duron running at almost 2x the speed it is supposed to do? It's also running faster than ur new setup! I think it could be fun to see a duron 1.35GHz against a 1.33 T-bird, don't ya think?

you better watch what you wish for, as you may fry your mobo along with it :)
WOW 700@1200 under a golden orb at 2.50V, this duron must run HOT and is a hell of a CPU, you should keep it!
What's the code on that motherF***er?! I have to help a friend buy a computer w/ a Duron, and I wanna know which one to get.

GET THAT DURON UNDER AN ALPHA BEFORE YOU KILL IT! that baby's a keeper!
lordy!!!! that's quite a duron!! if i were you i'd keep it and build a second comp around the new tbird! i think it would be of GREAT interest to many people to see how long a chip would last under that kind of pressure! if it holds out, you'll see loads more people pushing higher and hotter!

WHat is that code-if i could get a Duron with that code, just imagine the potential that a chip like that could have with proper voltage, cooling and HS, PS probly hit 1.6 gig, thad be sweettt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this thing has been running for atleast 4 days now I think :) :) :) 8)
temps are stableizing at 59C with standard water cooling(took of the crushing orb and put on my watercooled super orb)
