hello all, i have a vexing problem, i have a T/B 1.2 gig
and a qdi kinetiz 7b M/B @ 1200x100,M/B and chip is 266 even tho i cant get it to change at all. now i have read everything i could and took the plunge and checked out the L1 bridge, to my suprise it was not cut, i say surprise cause i have tried prior to change the multiplier and failed, up or down, it wont post by using the jumpers to set multiplier to say, any figure other than the 12x, or 12.5x, and if i try 12.5 it boots, but dosent change the readings, ie, i get no extra 50 mhz,,, now, after alot of mucking around i have yet to change anything at all speed wise, i tried vcore ext, but the multiplier stays locked?? with no cuts to L1 bridge? so, have amd used another method to lock the multiplier?
please ask if you need any more info. and help would be thankfully recived

Never herd of that M/B,,The problem is less likely to be the processor than it is a M/B problem.

If you cannot change the settings,I would clear the cmos and try again,{remember to up plug the Pc before clearing cmos}

If this wont work go to the M/B main page and see if there is an updated bios.If there is flash the bios and see it it fixes it.

The problem you have is common to MSI,And IWILL.
