a7v226-e vs a7s333?

Should i stick with my kt266 based a7v or upgrade the mobo to the a7s333 with SiS745 -- currently running an XP2100 tbread@ 2100Mhz

Or to the next level; a A7N8X... but id rather save the coin on a a7s

If not going to be overclocking, I would just stay with the A7V266-E, but if you do want to o/c go with one of the NF2 boards. Going from a kt266 to a kt333 isn't much, you'll get an inprovement just not as much as with the NF2. Get the NF2 and you'll be set for future upgrades later on.

You could certainly do with a mobo upgrade, since it appears that you're not running the 'A' version chipset. However, the A7S333 isn't really your best bet. Might as well go for an nForce2 mobo at this point.

The A7V266-E is a KT266A chipset.
And I second what other people said. Either stick with your mobo or get an NF2 board
