need to flash BIOS in order?

i just got an ASUS a7v8x-x and i was going to flash the BIOS. is it necessary that i get all th eprevious versions or can i go straight to the latest?

Are updates cumulative, meaning, i fi flash to version 1005 does it include the fixes in 1004 and 1003?

yea it's like video card driver's.. or any driver's.. u just download the latest one and flashy flash.. kinda like game patches u know? one patch updates the previuos.
