Error in NT Authority/system ????

Im having a problem with Windows XP Home, it keeps randomly rebooting the error states "error NTAuthority/system...RPC service terminated unexpectedly

anyone have any idea whats causing this

no sooner did I post that than I decided to scroll down and check out the everyone elses posts...I d/l'd the patch and its working fine so far...thanks alot!!!
