creative geforce 2 mx
3 case fans, 1 pci slot sucker
creative awe32
linksis 10/100 network card
256mb IT(yes the people who make calcuters) pc133 ram stable@150 cas3 fast timeings
1 13.6 gb quantm fireball plus kx hdd
the vcore's at 1.85, the i/o's at 3.4, max temp is between 45(usual)and 49(extreem) and idle about 32. what am i missing here?! it wont even POST at 10x100! im at a loss here.....
I don't know about this one....
......eehhh..... Are u using Artic silver or something like that? Have u lapped ur heat sink?

no, im actualy not even using a thermal pad :'( but does it relly help that mutch?
that sucks i just got my duron 850@1000(10*100)@1.65VCORE
not bad right now running F@H and temp are about 35C

Yes it does help very much. Right now I'm also running without anything between my CPU and HS. I'm running a 700@850Mhz@1.75V, my temps are 49C at full load. When I used a thermal pad I was running 978Mhz@1.85 and at full load I was reading 52C. I'm gonna get some Artic silver2 very soon, I'm hoping to hit the gig with that stuff.
I really think u should get something to put between ur CPU and HS, I think it will help u a lot.

In the old days we would use an automotive product called 'neverseize' it was a paste full of ground aluminum. If you think your Duron runs hot at 1.8 volts try a K6III at 2.7. I'm not recommending this for your Duron,,just passing along some history.
If you have a Radio Shack close by they have some paste. It's not the best but better than nothing at all. These days I use Arctic Silver.

thanks:) the reson im runing with nothing at all is that i accadently got dirt ground into the thermal pad(long story) so i just scraped it all off.
